Technocratic Energy Research Centre

In an automated society where robots undertake the jobs we previously did, humans have far more leisure time. Robots rely on energy and it has become a salient issue for a society where finite energy sources are decreasing. Located in the Knowlhill grid square, the architecture provides spaces for learning, making and research.

Adaptability is a key architectural concept explored throughout, lending to the heritage of Milton Keynes. As the building changes overtime, new experiments for current trends of renewable energy research can be undertaken.
