Project by George Brandon

In an alternative post-work society, the working week has steadily declined, with free time in abundance. Milton Keynes (re-branded as Mono Keynes) has been earmarked to become the country's primary Recreation Retreat'. This redevelopment has caused a large amount of recreational amenities to be proposed, with the location of these to be on land previously occupied by business services in Milton Keynes.

In order to connect this recreation city, a free to use, tourism funded monorail system is proposed; realising Fred Pooley's 1960s vision of Milton Keynes becoming a monorail city. This project focuses on the creation of a Monorail system to connect the new amenities; a centralised transportation hub to interconnect existing and new transport services; and the master-planning of the route.
